We’re living through an age of extreme weather and climate, extreme violence, extreme economic inequality, extreme food insecurity, extreme threats to democracy and more. Send them your history pitches for shorts, field trips, mailbags, postcard, mini-essays, and reviews (books, exhibits, digital projects, documentaries, etc). ($75 - $400) Ride Texas Magazine | Julie is looking for pitches for Ride Texas, a quarterly motorcycle magazine. They’re looking especially for unbiased gear reviews, restaurant reviews, and motorcycle industry trends. Pay rate is $125-$400 per print article, depending on length and depth of research. Blogs pay $75. Pitch deadline for their Spring 2024 issue is Jan 15. More info here
