($500) Briarpatch Magazine | Briarpatch is accepting submissions of original, unpublished writing and photography for their 15th annual Writing in the Margins contest. This year the categories are creative non-fiction, poetry, and documentary photography. Winners receive $500 and publication in Briarpatch, while runners-up get $150 and online publication. Entry fee is $25 and includes a one-year subscription. Submission deadline is December 1. More details and submit here.
