Airbnb, Strava, WIRED, Euronews, DreamWorks 📣 🚨 📬
Happy Thursday to all you writers & creatives 👋
Hello writers! How’s everyone doing today?
I wanted to shout out a success story that subscriber and founder of Lore, Zehra Naqvi, shared with me! Zehra found out about Digital Frontier through one of our TWJN issues and was able to get a full feature with them to talk all about her new fandom website, Lore. Make sure to give it a read! I love hearing about all the different things TWJN subscribers are working on 💪
In this midweek issue, we have 56 writing opportunities from Airbnb, Strava, WIRED, Euronews, DreamWorks, TIME and many more.

1️⃣ Calls to Pitch
($500 - $800) Parapraxis | Parapraxis is an all-volunteer magazine that publishes twice a year in print and semi-frequently on their website. They are actively seeking pitches for Issue 07: Romance (Winter 2025) and for their (un-themed) website. Pieces for web are on rolling deadlines; pieces for Issue 07 would be due in the spring. They commission in many categories, some of which are pretty standard (book and arts reviews, features, political/social reportage etc) and some of which are their own (like "Clinical Conflict," or, anonymous testimony from analysts and patients). Print rates vary depending on length from $500-800. Web rates are a flat $500. More info and submit here.
