  • Pitch Call Database with 1,400+ opps — with pay rates, pub/editor contact info, deadlines, pitch guides, etc.

During my search today, I came across this pretty helpful post by Business Insider editor Paige DiFiore. I often share her pitch calls in this newsletter, so you know she works with freelance writers quite regularly. Paige shared some insightful tips on what editors are looking for in a pitch. Some of the pointers may seem quite obvious if you’ve been at this for a while, but it never hurts to get a refresher straight from the source!

If you missed the last newsletter with over 40 writing opportunities from Eaten, Current Affairs, Financial Times, Metro, People, Bolts, The Athletic, Mothership, SFGATE and many more, check it out here.
