The Graywolf Press Nonfiction Prize emphasizes innovation in form and content, and they want to see projects that push the boundaries of literary nonfiction. A $20,000 advance and publication by Graywolf Press will be awarded to the most promising and innovative literary nonfiction project by a writer not yet established in the genre. The winning author will also receive a $2,000 stipend intended to support the completion of their project. Open for submissions Feb 1-29. More info here

(£4,000 prize) Future Worlds Prize | UK & Irish writers! 🇬🇧 🇮🇪 The 2024 Future Worlds Prize is now open for entries! They’re looking for great works of science fiction and fantasy by new writers and are open to everything from space operas and dystopias to books set in magical worlds and more. The winner will receive a prize of £4,000, while a runner-up gets a prize of £2,000. All those shortlisted, as well as the runner-up and winner, will receive mentoring from their publishing partners. (£3,000 prize) Prototype Prize | Another one for UK & Irish writers! The Prototype Prize is a new, biennial prize for published or unpublished writers and artists working at the intersections of different literary and artistic forms. The prize awards £3,000 plus publication by Prototype to the best book-length project, and a second prize of £2,000 plus publication by Monitor Books to the best short-form work.
