($200 - $500) Nonprofit Quarterly Magazine | NPQ  is looking for climate justice writing by movement leaders and practitioners in the field of all ages—including, and especially, youth (ages 18–35)—for a special edition centered on the young people bringing new leadership, energy, and hope to the climate justice movement. ($100 AUD) Disability Fantasy Anthology | If you're a writer with a disability (chronic illness & mental health inclusive), submit to the Disability Fantasy anthology! The theme is “Traditional Fantasy,” meaning fairy tale, folk tale, myth, legend, or fable. Imagine what kind of story might be passed down from generation to generation, whose origins have been lost to time. Submission deadline is June 20. Submission guidelines here. ($90 - $450) Ploughshares | Ploughshares regular reading period is open! Submit your fiction, nonfiction, and poetry for the chance to be published in a future issue of Ploughshares. Submission deadline is January 15 at noon EST. Payment is $45 per printed page, $90 minimum per title, $450 maximum per author. Submission guidelines here. There is a $3.75 service fee for online submissions.
