Hello writers! How’s everyone doing today?
I know I said I’d be on a hiatus this week, but there were just too many good writing opportunities to not send out a proper issue! I’m feeling much more rested and recharged after a couple days of nonstop hiking in the Dolomites (as ironic as that might sound). There’s truly nothing better than a bit of nature, as I’m sure little Eeyore down there would agree.

($1,000+) The Flytrap | Feminist cultural criticism publication, The Flytrap, is open to pitches! Take a look at their pitch guidelines for more information about what they’re looking for. They pay writers a minimum of $1,000 per piece and $600 for hero art. The publication focuses on deep, thorough cultural criticism that defies algorithms and surfaces unique stories. Pitch deadline is July 5. Pitches are ONLY accepted through their pitching form, not via email.
